At Leanrr Co. ("Leanrr"), our mission is to help you along your fitness and wellness journey and we want you to know how we collect and use the data that you provide to us over the course of that journey. This Privacy Policy outlines how Leanrr collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your personal information.
Leanrr collects information that you provide when you use our app. This includes:
Personal details (such as name, email address, and fitness goals).
Behavioral data related to your use of the app.
Device information and app performance data.
The food diary stores the photos you take or select, their capture times, and any details you choose to edit. With your device's permission, it also saves the location of a camera capture. Imported photos use their original location when available. Location permission is not required to save a photo. You can change permissions in your device settings.
Food photos are private to your account and are not shared with your Leanrr friends. We store optimized photos rather than full-resolution originals. Available photo metadata, including the original time, location, camera details, and image dimensions, is kept separately and privately with your account. Changing when you ate does not change the original photo metadata. Library imports read only the photos you select. Photos waiting to upload stay in the app's private storage, including while you are offline. Uninstalling the app removes photos that have not yet uploaded.
Deleting a diary photo removes its active image files and meal details. We retain a minimal deletion record so an interrupted upload cannot recreate it. Existing backups may retain previously saved data until those backups are deleted. Automatic AI photo analysis is disabled for this release; food photos are not sent to an AI provider while it is disabled.

We assure you that your information will not be sold or used for any purposes other than those listed above.
We share data with third-party services for specific purposes:
PostHog and Google Analytics: To analyze app usage and user behavior.
Sentry: To report and resolve app errors.
These third parties are not permitted to use your data for any other purposes.
Leanrr takes the security of your data seriously. We implement appropriate measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Leanrr is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on our website or through other communication channels.
