Do I have to eat the same meal every day?
Nope! We provide you with a personalized set of meals per day by default that you can change up by hitting the “Change” button in the meal plan page! You’ll have over 25+ tasty recipes to choose from with different recipes to pick from so that you can have a variety of options, switch things up, and try new, tasty meals. If you have a favorite recipe, you can certainly repeat it, but we’ve given you 3 meal per day options so that you don’t get bored.
How many hours apart am I supposed to eat my meals?
We designed this meal plan to be easy and flexible to fit your schedule. Frankly, there’s no set timing to your meals. The most important thing is to make sure you eat all your meals each day.
Why do we need to weigh in every day?
Weight fluctuates every day depending on food weight and water retention. Our software enables you to update your weight every day so we can compute your Average Weekly Weight and accurately track your progress every week so we can recalibrate your meal plan every week!
Are my meal plans personalized to me?
Yes! Once you ‘Sign Up’ you will be guided to a set of questions we ask you such as gender, height, age, along with your weekly average weight (WAW), and activity. We use your information to create a personalized nutritional plan unique for you that you can customize.
Does my meal plan adjust to my progress?
Absolutely! We take your updated weight measurements every week so as you lose weight, your meal plan adjusts to your measurements to date. We calculate how much you should eat to continue seeing progress to reach your fitness goals!
How much weight can I expect to lose using Leanrr?
Results will vary from person to person depending on your starting weight and level of activity. Pay attention to your fat loss and muscle tone. Your before and after pictures will help you see your progress as well. If you are still curious, we have seen results from 4-8 lbs(2-4kg) lost among our Leanrr community in 2 weeks! You will be guaranteed to see results by being consistent with the meal plan.
What is the best thing to drink with my meal plan?
Keep in mind some drinks such as juices or non-diet sodas can add to weight gain! They may contain tons of sugar that could inhibit your fat loss. We recommend that your water intake is super important! You should be drinking anywhere from 1-1.5 gallons of water each day. If you do prefer more variety, diet drinks are totally allowed. Just make sure to consume in moderation (1 can a day).
What if I'm hungry? What can I eat?
Our meal plans are personally designed to keep you feeling full and satiated so you won’t feel hungry. Most of our clients initially think there’s a lot of food however they still see fat loss and progress! Eat more and lose weight? We wouldn’t complain either! If there’s a chance you may be hungry, we recommend first drinking water. It’s been researched that hunger is mistaken for dehydration. Other than that, we recommend snacking on vegetables. Vegetables are unlimited! They are a great source of fiber and are great for helping you stay full.
What is body composition?
Body composition is what your body is made up of. Simply put, our bodies are made of fat weight and lean weight.
Fat weight = how much weight in fat your body is composed of.
Lean weight = how much weight that is not fat your body is composed of such as muscle, water, and bones.
The meal plan contains meat. What if I am vegetarian?
If you are vegetarian you can simply substitute all meat protein ingredients in the recipe for tofu, tempeh, seitan, textured vegetable protein (TVP), or vegetarian substitutes.
How do I get my grocery list?
After you have selected what you’d like to eat for the week in your ‘Meal Plan’, go to the ‘Grocery List’ tab. There lies an exact list of all the groceries for the week along with the quantities of ingredients needed.
